Brief history of BMW company

Launched in 1916, the companyBayerischeMotorenWerke (BMW, meaningBavarian Motor Works in English) was established with the aim of producing cars and motorbikes. BMW’s precursors are two companies Raap Motor Works and BMW GmbH, specializing in the manufacture of aircraft engines. That is the great inspiration to design the worldwide famous BMW logo.

 

Nearly 90 years of existence, directly influenced by the two most intense wars in human history; however, this symbolic logo still goes parallel with the development of the BMW. BMW’s 100-year anniversary event
